Flamboyant, intelligent, well-read, well-spoken. Love cooking. Hate housework. Love photography and live theatre; (Also, love my BibleStudy!); Volunteer teacher and reading coach. I want to spend some time overseas each year, teaching English (and other skills) in a third world country (Solomon Islands). I am an ex-photographer, ex make-up artist. Ex-waitress, ex-secretary, ex-drama teacher..... You name it; I have probably tried my hand at it. Highly developed, slightly warped, sense of humour. I can laugh at my self, and at the ridiculous world we live in. Don't apply if you can't laugh at yourself, occasionally! I love life and I like to try new things. I currently attend the Anglican Church, but my beliefs lie somewhere between Quakerism, evangelical Christian, and Catholicism. Totally interdenominational! All roads lead to God, as far as I can see. I'd like a companion along the way - someone to laugh with. If my companion could be a little bit practical, rather than "so heavenly minded, he's of no earthly use", that would be a bonus!! I live in a house full of books, with not enough shelves! What else can I tell you? I love life, my friends describe my home as peaceful and calming. Though I keep busy, and am never bored, I can always make time to smell the roses, and I seldom see the thorns.
