New to this game. Kind of freaks me out. Starting over yet again after the loss of my husband and best friend for 29 years. As I enter into yet another retirement (I retired twice but each time returned to work) I am once again starting over, this time alone, and just beginning to explore what I want to do with the rest of my life.

The most important thing in my life is my faith and my relationship to God. And I believe relationships require 3 people to make them work – "you", me, and God. This is my top priority in considering any relationships beyond friendship.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My best friendships have developed from working and playing with others. I’m not good at just hanging out and shooting the breeze (unless you have a pool).

Love to laugh. Would like to RV again. Want to find some meaningful “volunteer” work. Trying to figure out how I can use what I learned by being the caregiver to make the world a better place for someone.

So don’t even know what I like to do anymore. For the past 5 years my time was dedicated to what I needed to do as opposed to what I wanted to do. Too often I was too tired to make an effort to do anything but watch a show on TV. I do enjoy playing games, watching movies, attending the theatre, hiking (more like walking these days). I used to enjoy bicycle riding, camping, and sight-seeing.
Oh, Yea – I have lots of preferences: time & conversation instead of flowers; experiences instead of gifts; jeans instead of dress-up; environmentally friendly/functional instead of luxury vehicles; “wash & wear” instead of primping; sneakers instead of heels; smallish/comfortable home instead of a big house requiring lots of upkeep/time; wine instead of mixed drinks; meatballs instead of steak (but crab meat trumps all).
