Me describiría a mi mismo como
I am an intellectual who can speak Chinese, Japanese and English. I am kind and unsophisticated. Though I am already a middle-aged woman, as I have been working in universities as a teacher, I am still as innocent as a young girl who easily trust others. I am not so beautiful but stately in personage. And I am amiable in character. Although in recent years, I have experienced a lot of adversities and was passing through the valley of weeping, I know the Lord was walking the valley of Baca together with me and will change the valley into the sweet spring of Elim and refresh my life. And the trials I experienced can offer hope and strength to those facing similar adverse circumstances, making them a place of springs for others, so that they may go from strength to strength, until they see God in Zion. With the healing power of God Father, I became positive and optimistic and full of hope again. I believe that tomorrow will be better. I am also a caring person who loves to help people. But as a Pisces, I am poor in financial management, and sometimes have unrealistic dreams.
I had lived in Beijing as a university teacher till 2008. Since then I have been living in Hong Kong, teaching Japanese Studies courses in the Department of Japanese Studies in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong. As my son is now studying in a private high school in New Jersey US, I prefer to live in the States in the future. Currently I am having a retreat to build up a closer relationship with God in Kansas City. I like to go jogging in the mountains or go outing with my church friends. If possible, I would like to serve God together with my future husband.
I became a Christian five years ago. I attend both Sunday worship and fellowships at Hong Kong Mandarin Bible Church regularly. I serve in ushering and Holy Communion. Also I attend Bible Studies Fellowship every Monday evening. Hong Kong Mandarin Bible Church is a non-denominational Christian fellowship established in 1995. The native language of most adults in the congregation is Mandarin (Putonghua). The church provides ministry opportunities to professionals from mainland China and Taiwan to learn how to live a godly life in this busy environment. As I love the Gospel preaches offered by the elders who are also university teachers, and have a belongingness to the church while associate with my fellowship brothers and sisters, I go there regularly.
