I love to laugh and can even laugh at myself! I LOVE music and play the piano a little bit. I enjoy making a house a home, but would like to meet someone with whom to share my life and home and I believe romance is possible, even in ?The Golden Years?. I?m a romantic! I enjoy an occasional weekend get-away and short vacations, but am always happy to get back home. I enjoy board games and years ago, I played bridge and I would love to play again...after ?brushing up? on the game. I am conservative in most things and consider myself an old fashioned Southern Lady, born and reared in North Carolina. I?ve lived in many states, including Hawaii, California, Ohio, Mississippi, Alabama, and Colorado. I am easy going, honest, trustworthy, kind, considerate of others and I do not play head games. I believe a couple should work together to create and maintain a solid relationship through communication and consideration of each other?s feelings, needs and wants. I always try to communicate in a kind and considerate manner. If either of us needs personal space at times, that consideration should be given and that should not create insecurity in either of us. I don?t expect this special man and myself to be ?glued at the hip? and he may have an interest in something which I don?t participate, i.e. golf. I would never intentionally offend someone, however I avoid people who are sarcastic or cruel to others. I try to live my life based on Biblical principals. I don?t have a ?better than others? attitude?; I know I?m saved by the grace of God and not because of anything I have or haven?t done.

I would like to meet a man who is a true Christian and tries to live his life based on Biblical principals and puts Christ Jesus 1st in his life. This man has good personal hygiene habits, is neat, organized, respectful, trust worthy, honest, kind, thoughtful, affectionate, has a good sense of humor and able to communicate...in general he will possess the same basic qualities I have. He is willing to invest the time needed to create a friendship that will develop into a loving relationship and marriage. The man I wish to meet is slow to anger, compassionate and he may enjoy an occasional weekend get-away. I avoid anyone who is bitter because of a failed prior relationship.
