I am a "young woman" in an older body ... I run circles around most people decades younger than me. I believe that faith changes things and I can do all things through Christ Jesus. My faith has been tested to the MAX and I remain strong in the Lord.
My children are grown. I am so blessed to have four adopted children who grew not under my heart but in it. I now have animal children (my horse, a dog and a cat). God has blessed me with my lifelong dream of having a horse ... a beautiful Friesian draft horse. She was a year old July 20, 2007. I have had my horse since she was two months old. She lives right outside my back door!
I am a positve, loving, and committed woman who desires to find someone with whom to spend the rest of my life. Knowing that a lover must be a good friend first, or the circle is not complete, compels me to start there.
I believe in a monogamous relationship where the man is the head of his household. I pattern my womanhood after that of Proverbs 31. I was married for 40 years to my first and only husband. I feel like I have been 40 years in the desert as the Word describes the Israelites. My husband and I have were separated for 16 years. We gave God every opportunity for reunification and after much prayer realized it was not to be. God revealed to us that this is the consequence of my husband's sin.
I have been trusting God and living alone for the past 16 years. I remained faithful to my marriage vows during all that time. I was able to endure this long period of time because of grace and my commitment to the relationship of a man and wife as God instructed in the Word. God has been my husband during this time and He has impressed me that now is the time to find His provision for a Godly husband. I am at peace and content with this direction. God has renewed that which was destroyed and I am full of love and commitment for the man He sends forth.
I am spontaneous, adventuresome, creative, giving, loving and very strong in the Lord emotionally. I am a cancer survivor! God chose to heal me and allow me time to touch the lives of other people! I am excited about a ministry He has given me that is beginning to take shape.
I believe God has someone for me. I desire to be under the spritual protection of a Godly man. I trust God will lead me to this man as I continue my journey in life. Although my marriage failed I have many wonderful memories of raising my children and the joy of my salvation.
