Jag skulle beskriva mig själv som

Educated, intelligent, retired math teacher, fun to be with. I have a woppy sense of humor, which my friends seem to appreciate! I love my God first, my family second, and everything else below that. I enjoy being out in nature and love animals. I am a voracious reader, enjoy games, like to sew and crochet, love fishing (strictly catch and release, though), and have a great time with my grandkids...what a blessing they are! Love movies that make me laugh (people, too). Not much for crowds, and defiinitely not a partier. Don't smoke and rarely drink alcoholic beverages. Not materialistic, although I like to be comfortable. I am serious about my faith, I love my church, and enjoy singing on the praise team; actually, I enjoy singing, period. I love contemporary Christian music, classical, classic rock, and a little country. I enjoy traveling, esp. internationally (my son and his family live in Israel.)
I have a tender heart, and while I don't make a spectacle of myself, might find myself in tears (sometimes in sadness, sometimes in joy) from time to time. I don't watch a lot of television, though I do have some favorite shows (CSI, Law & Order Criminal Intent and SVU, Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, etc.) I tend to record the shows I like and watch several at one sitting. I surprise myself by liking American Idol (sorry...can't help myself!) I live in a small town in West Texas and will probably always want to live in this general area. I am loyal and honest and prefer to spend my time with people who are the same. I have no use for people who see themselves as a cut above others, or for people who think they are responsible somehow for their God-given talents. I like a spacious house, well-lit (preferably by sunlight) living areas, and a dark bedroom.

Vad letar du efter?

First and foremost, a shared faith. After that, I think I value kindness and a gentle nature, and a great sense of humor. I have no interest in a partier, but I do like someone who knows how to have good, clean fun. Sometimes I like to be doing things outdoors, and other times I like stay in and talk, play board games, etc., so it would be good to have that in common. I like flexibility.
