All of life is a learning experience for me with so many opportunities for new accomplishments. I am very attractive for my age range, excellent health, with a well balanced life style. My ideal guy will have a positive outlook and be looking to move ahead in life. He will be somewhat intellectually inclined but not stuffy. My new man will enjoy some of the activities I like such as swimming, fine dining, theatre, movies and entertaining friends at home. He will also be anxious to introduce me to some pastimes he enjoys which I have always wanted to take up such as camping or perhaps some dance lessons.

I have taken up writing since retiring and have now completed the first volume of a family journal which I plan to continue. Family is very important to me and although I don't have many relatives, I will be looking for a man who appreciates his family ties. Hopefully he has children and grandchildren to visit and take an interest in.

I consider myself to be a confident, sensible lady. My interests include going to lecture series, volunteer work with young people and some church activities. I like good conversation and dependable friends to socialize with.

I look for a balanced life with a strong sense of values. A guy with a good sense of humour is a great complement to my more serious side. My ideal man brings me out of my shell and makes me laugh. A family man appeals to me. At this stage of the game, I am looking for a guy who is settled and has his life in order. Someone who is able to travel and enjoys new places and interests.
