I am 5'7" tall, about 155 lbs., blonde hair, blue eyes. I used to be a pretty good gymnast in high school. I am quite musical and have been writing songs about my faith and life experience, since I was 16 or so. I play guitar and keyboards and sing.
I didn't work very hard in high school and regretted it, during my university years, but I still managed to get good marks in most of my courses at university. I did a 3 year B.A., major in Music and then just "squeaked over" the high honours mark in the B.Sc program in Physics.
I encountered some pretty rough waters, spiritually speaking, after I graduated. Looking back now, I realize that the Lord was refining me - too much "worldly" ambition. True humility of heart is one of the most beautiful things I know and I can never thank God enough for helping me to find it.
I have never been married but have always had a strong desire to find that special woman - that special someone whom I can love, with all my heart, in that special way, and someone who will love me in the same way, as I believe God intended it to be, between a man and a woman ... someone whose faith is similar to my own, i.e., it is the most important thing in my life.
I grew up in the Ottawa area but have done some traveling in Europe (not enough), and I lived in California, for six months, back in 1988. When I was about 17, my dad bought a plot of land in Quebec on a nice lake and we built a log cabin - good memories. My brother now owns it and we get out there at least once per year (he, more often, of course).
I'm in career transition right now and feel very good about it. I'm trusting that the Lord will lead me into meaningful work. He called me to ministry, back in January 1981, but I wanted to finish the science program that I was just beginning. In any case, my doors to His will, are finally opening, and I've never had more joy, in my daily life, than I do these days. Learning to love Him, above all (which basically translates to keeping His word) and learning to love those around me every day better, seems to be the key to "abundant life." What a place this world could be, if people only cared about each other a little more.
So, that is enough for now. If you are attractive, somewhat athletic, like the outdoors and know that "Jesus is Lord, " maybe we are "made for each other." It is my hope and prayer that everyone find their "prince" or "princess."

to love God with all my heart, soul, strength and mind, and to love my neighbor as I love myself. After that, I can think of quite a few things I'd like to achieve, like play in a successful Christian band, run my own business, make beautiful furniture, etc., etc.
