My ideal day with you would be to put on my old comfy jeans, your flannel shirt, and walk with you hand in hand. We could browse flea markets, rummage sales or antique shops. It could be a night of dress for dinner and a play or, cheese and crackers by the fire. There is a hat, with a brim to wear in the sun, and a fish on the end of our line. One country road less traveled, conversations yet to exist. There is a man who has yet to tell me his ideas and dreams; there is a man who has never heard mine. I hear a melody as we glide across the old dance floor. Bare foot in the garden; take time to smell the roses.
I could sing you a song; you could read me a poem.
Can you BBQ? I make one mean Potato salad and, my cowboy taters are not bad either. So many stories we have to share about my family and yours, so many new stories to start.
