I enjoy simple things. Reading, hiking, photography and writing are my loves. I like walking and talking, holding hands and enjoying the vast array of wonders the Lord has created. I am looking for someone who I can talk to, someone who is non-judgmental and who is not critical. I've had enough of those. I'm not avarice-minded. I make a nice living, but I don't live to work. My favorite animal in the world is the Chihuahua!! I feel quite at home in the middle of a hot desert or on a breezy, California beach. I adore walking through glades of mountain aspens in the fall. I don't like crowds. I like all types of food, preferably simple, home-prepared meals. I enjoy both cooking and baking. I like all genres of film, except foreign. I like thrillers, but I don't like to watch the violent parts; I fast-forward through those segments. I enjoy children and most children seem to enjoy me.

My idea of fun is hiking in the back country, camping and fishing, road triping to remote places, walking on the beach, walking little dogs, walking through busy cities like Manhattan or San Francisco, watching an intense movie, or just sitting on the couch with the one I love holding hands and kissing. I like doing many things, but I don't like being in tight crowds, like at parties or social gatherings.
