Puzzled, Looking for Missing Piece

Jag skulle beskriva mig själv som

Hmmm... time to examine myself... I have been told by other people that I am really nice, caring, very funny, and basically a good person. I am sort of laid back, but not so much that I dont like to get out and do things. Laid back also meaning I don't let things bother me, life shouldnt be about worrying. Just strive to do your best, always. I'm not the type of guy to sit in front of the TV all weekend and watch sports... no way... watching sports on the tube is okay every once in a while but my weekends are not defined by the sports channel. I am looking for a loving, trusting and truly compatible woman who shares many of the same interests as I do, a woman who shares the same kind of faith. In the past I have made the mistake of falling for the "pretty face" and ignoring the fact that we have little in common. I do believe though that those were a learning experience, and God has (in his always mysterious way) made me ready to find a soulmate finally. A great match for me would be someone with a kind heart, compassion towards others and towards all living things. Someone who can appreciate all of the little miracles that we experience everyday in our lives. Someone who is optimistic and knows that when something "bad" happens you have to look for the "good" thing that God is trying to show you. Someone who is a good christian and knows how to balance their life in this world. And yes, someone who considers themselves attractive because after all, if 2 people aren't physically attracted as well, the relationship wont last. I have had the benefit of having a varied Christian background and upbringing. My family was of "holiday only" Lutheran faith. In my teens I started to really want to feel closer to God. Most of my friends were Catholic, so I began attending Sunday mass. Eventually I converted to Catholicism. By my mid twenties I started questioning some of the beliefs of the Catholic church. Certain things that were done were done so without explanation as to why, especially things that weren't in the Bible. I slowly drifted away from attending regular worship services and by the age of 30 was exploring the differences between Christian practices. In my mid-thirties I felt a very strong calling to God and Christ and began just praying and reading the Bible on my own. I have attended several different churches over the last few years and have yet to feel a strong connection with any one church. I continue to pray several times everyday and read the Bible when I feel I need guidance. I would love to be introduced to a church where I truly felt like a part of the family. I think that will be the job of my soulmate.

I have so many interests... they are in no particular order here :^) Horseback riding, long drives in the country, swimming in lakes, amusement parks, hiking and camping, riding motorcycles sometimes, skiing, ice skating (I used to play ice hockey up north), listening to music, cooking (i'm a great cook), watching movies, going out to dinner, kayaking, so much more.
