Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

Practical, adventurous, well travelled explorer. I am a mans man but no task has ever been below me. I did all the things a father does, changing nappies, waking up at unGodly hours to feed or comfort my kids. I dropped seemingly urgent things to attend to family issues, did the school play support, sports, where I could, and visiting teachers when required. I can cook up a storm, on a fire or on the stove, and with the exception of a few experimental meals....nobody ever complained. In fact I get complimented for my cullinary skills.(It helped growing up with 6 siblings and a mother who taught us well) I have met the Queen and spent 20 minutes chatting with her and also had lunch with the Xhosa King. I am at ease in any company and remain a humble man in any setting. I try at every opportunity to uplift people and show empathy to those who clearly dont have the revelation of who they are in God's eyes. I will never embarrass you and know how to treat a lady. I am a gentleman and you can expect me to behave like one at all times. I am also trained in things mechanical (Marine Engineer) and have worked in the construction industry for more than ten years so you dont need a handy man. Build a house or boat or anything technical....no problem. I have worked outdoors most of my life . Inside....still a spring chicken. Ran a couple of marathons to show that I could. I am strong...mentally and physically and everyone who knows me will agree. I have one son still at school, the rest have finished and I am busy building a sailing catamaran to explore the islands in the not too distant future. I would love to share that experience with an adventurous and strong women at my side. I dont keep alcohol in my house and if I am invited to attend a social gathering I may bring a bottle of wine but generally, I dont have to drink at every opportunity. A glass of wine...or two...thats it for me. Of course I dont dictate to others in that regard....that is just my preference.
