A little about me...
In my life, I try my best to put God first and my family comes second. It is difficult to balance work, family and church as it seems to come in that order most of the time. There seems to be very little time for me so I do value my "downtime" but also enjoy quiet time with someone special. I am fun loving but also know when to be serious. I enjoy talking but can be on the quiet side-I mostly watch and listen until I get to know you better.
About the one I'm looking for...
I want a partner in life-someone who cares about making a meaningful relationship work-as "work" is the key word--it takes work from both to make that "magic" happen. I am for the most part an optimistic person-fun loving and hopeful to find someone to share my time. Honesty and trust are a must--without these, there is no relationship. I want to be " the only" in someone's life-no jealousy or tricks-games are not for me.

I love to cook and to share my cuisine with others. I also have a passion for sewing, quilting and needlework crafts that take up a lot of my time. My outdoor passion is camping-I love to camp, cooking outdoors and enjoying a quiet walk in nature and a good campfire later. My favorite sport is football (Alabama football), Other than my sewing which is not something that can always be done with others, I prefer to have friends who like to get together often for dinner, cards, just talking, etc. Traveling is something I enjoy and plan to do much more in my future. I love the beach, the mountains and seeing "backroads USA" when I travel. A good date is doing something we both enjoy-eating out, going to a movie, taking a long walk in a park, fishing, going to a football game-or just sharing some takeout at home and watching the game or a classic movie

meeting for a lite lunch or drink/coffee in a quiet place where we both are comfortable and can talk and get to know each other...to see if we think a 2nd date would be a good idea.

going on a train ride - maybe a short trip to start to see how I like it. I think it would be quite an adventure and like going back in time when travel was slower and you get to see the countryside as you go by.

going to yard sales and/or flea markets, consignment shops looking for treasure. Would like to take a day, jump in the car heading in a new direction and just stopping where the road leads at a new shop or café and just enjoy the day hopefully with a special someone at my side who enjoys plundering and discovery like I do.
